Engine hours are approximate based on 20+ years of current ownership. Engine is clean and runs well. Shaft log is standard packing gland. Cockpit steering is 40 inch destroyer wheel upgraded from standard 30 inch.

Main and head sail were just cleaned by North Sails here in Seattle. The furling headsail had a new UV cover sewn on during this refurb.

The Cal 39 hull is solid glass and laid up fairly robust. The deck is balsa-cored in most places and plywood was used in high-load areas. The hull-to-deck joint is the conventional inward facing flange and is both chemically and mechanically fastened.
The interior bulkheads are securely tabbed to the hull and a molded liner is used on the cabin sides and overhead liner. The finish is quite nice, actually better than most would suspect with excellent joiner work and teak trim. The ballast is lead and the rudder is foam with a thin layer of glass over it.

Forward "V" Berth cabin with access door to head on Port. Salon has two convertible settees that make up to double berths. Galley has brand new Force 10 stove. Aft cabin is to starboard and is a quarter berth. Very roomy interior, clean and well appointed.

Autopilot is Autohelm 6000 chain drive, 6" Richie Compass, Radar is 24 mile Raytheon, Data Marine depth, radar reflector is Firdell Blipper. No Chart Plotter or GPS.

150'0" of rode
CQR with 100 feet of 5/16 Hi Test and 150 of rode is currently in storage. Mounted on the boat today is a 25 LB Bruce with 10 feet of chain and 150 feet of rode. Seller calls it a "lunch hook". Windlass is manual and of unknown manufacture. It appears as original equipment.
Winches are all oversized.

This is a very attractive and well maintained boat. The gel coat on the hull shines, the sails have all just been cleaned and the boat is ready to go on a new adventure. The galley sports a brand new Force 10 stove, the interior upholstery is all new and there are no "funny" smells.
